This Weekend
In Fresno:
- The Discovery Center is having Saturday Science classes from 12 noon until 2 pm. These are fun hands-on science oriented classes encompassing all sorts of topics and activities! This week’s topic: Bubbles! And they will be having fun with their water balloon launcher as well, so dress to get wet!
Classes are open-house style (no worries about being late, or leaving early). No pre-registration is required. All ages are welcome. Cost is $5.00 per child. 1944 N. Winery, between Clinton and McKinley. 251-5533. - Barnes & Noble is having “Goin’ to the Zoo Storytime” at 11am. Please don’t feed the animals! But be sure to feed the kids for today’s Storytime all about the zoo. It’s a safari in Barnes & Noble, so come prepared to learn and love our favorite ZOO creatures. In Riverdale:
- The Riverdale Branch Library is having E&M’s Reptile Family at 11am. Come see, touch and learn all about amphibians and reptiles! 20975 Malsbary. Call 867-3391 for tickets.
*Webmama note: I’ve seen this performance several times…once just recently…and it’s ALWAYS a GREAT SHOW! Eric is absolutely HILARIOUS! And the kids just LOVE the show and learn a lot to boot!
In Reedley:
- The River City Theatre has Sat and Sun showings of the award winning musical, “Fiddler on the Roof”. 8pm on Sat for $25, 2pm on Sunday for $19. 1720 10th St, Reedley, 638-6500
