I’m switching to a new format for FresnoFamily.com and am in the process of redoing all the webpages with the new system. Its very exciting! Its been a LONG time since I’ve done anything major with the site, so it felt like time.

I also have been really wanting to switch the site to a format that would allow feedback on much of the content. So I’m going with WordPress, which is proving to be really easy and wonderful to work with so far. Apparently many people use it for full-on websites, not just blogs. Who knew? 🙂

I was able to find a theme (template) that I really liked and bought it and tweaked it and made it my own, and I’m really excited to get it up live for y’all to see!

Even talked my husband into redoing my logo on Photoshop…so I’m back to the original design which I really liked because my mom drew it years ago. It just needed to be made into a quality graphic because what I did myself was really pixilated and yucky looking. The current logo a friend of mine did and while it is really good and I like it a lot, I really wanted to go back to the original designed logo. So thank heavens for husbands that know how to work with Photoshop! 🙂

Anyway, its taking a long time to go through all the webpages and convert to the new format. Having to test all the links and many are broken, so that takes time to fix. It’s ok though, it needed to be done. 🙂

Stay tuned for a fresh new look on FresnoFamily! 🙂
