These are programs run by a local school or district that are basically “school-at-home”, using the same curriculum as the school they are connected to. Created originally for public schoolers to temporarily do their studies at home (pregnancy, sickness, behavior issues, etc), these programs are increasing in recent years due to the coronavirus.
