I DID
IT!
Our Son was born at home and in the water on Thursday,
April 11th at 2:25 a.m. He weighed 7 lb. 5 oz 20 1/2
inches long. the exact length and 2 oz heavier than his
sister. We were attended by our midwife, Anni, her
assistant, Sara and our friend, Leslie. The whole birth
process lasted 16 hours and I had only an hour of
pushing with no tearing. We are both doing very well
though I feel muscles in my body that I never knew
existed, mostly in my upper back, neck and face. Paige
was sleeping when the baby arrived and Sara went and
woke her up. She got into the tub with us and kissed her
baby brother full of excitement. Then started singing
"Happy Birthday." ...This birth couldn't have been more
perfect.

HBAC--home birth after cesarean...which made it all the
