The Bradley Method®,
Husband Coached Childbirth--The Bradley Method®
teaches natural childbirth and views birth as a natural
process. It is our belief that most women with proper
education, preparation, and the help of a loving and
supportive coach can be taught to give birth naturally.
The Bradley Method® is a system of natural labor
techniques in which a woman and her coach play an active
part. It is a simple method of increasing
self-awareness, teaching a woman how to deal with the
stress of labor by tuning in to her own body. The
Bradley Method® encourages mothers to trust their bodies
using natural breathing, relaxation, nutrition,
exercise, and education.

Webmama note: My husband and I took the Bradley classes
with our 3rd pregnancy and while there are a few things
that I don't agree with Bradley on, I really can't say
enough about how really informative and helpful they
are. There's much to be gained from these classes that
we didn't get from the hospital classes we took during
our pregnancy with our daughter. I highly recommend
Bradley classes to ALL local pregnant women.

incorporating the often overlooked emotional facets of
childbirth into Childbirth Preparation. Psychological
strategies for pain management during labor are also
included in this series of classes. Classes are $75 for
