local playgroups & mommy groups, a section on
local
city ordinances & general useful city info, family-friendly places to check out when
vacationing in California, and last but not least, a
section for us
WAHMS!! (work-at-home-moms), where you can learn all
about local moms that have businesses that are enabling
them to be home with their children. Please check out
these mom businesses and help support this very good
cause! And if you are a mom trying to find a way to
enable you to also be home with your children...email
me with your questions and I will also get an info
page on working at home up very soon!
This
section will be constantly updated and I always welcome
(indeed, ENCOURAGE!) suggestions from locals...so please
email me with info that you have to contribute. It's
very time consuming to locate all this info and put it
all together here, so unfortunately, being a mom to 2
and also a wahm of several home businesses, I don't have
as much time as I'd like to have to devote to this
site...I do what I can, but I REALLY need YOUR help to
get the info that's out there, up here on the site for
all to be able to utilize. I really appreciate any tips
and info that you contribute!
*I
don't have an up-to-the-minute list of events monthly
because the
Central California Parent Magazine does a darn good
job of that and its a free magazine you can find all
over town! So pick one up next time you're at the
grocery store or some other place that has it, or check
out their site at the link above since they also publish
the calendar online! I do, however, email my
egroup from time to time on interesting upcoming
events that I think might be of interest to local
families...especially things that are not in the
CCParent Mag, or things that I find of particular
interest and want to spotlight. |
