Calendar Instructions

1. If you would like to submit an event to the FresnoFamily Local Family Events Calendar, you will need to register an account first by going to this link: http://fresnofamily.com/wp-login.php?action=register 
         The page will look like this: 
   
2. Register by filling in your desired username and the email you’d like associated with your account, then click “register.”  You will then get this message: “Registration complete. Please check your e-mail.” 
   Open your email in a new window or tab to keep the login page open, since you’ll need it next.
3. After checking your email for your generated password (don’t worry, you can reset your password to whatever you like once you are logged in), you will log into your new account. If you accidentally close the login page, don’t worry, you can access it again anytime at the bottom of the right sidebar on any www.FresnoFamily.com webpage, under “Meta”:
   
4. Once you are logged in, you will be taken to your backend control panel, which will default to your profile tab. Here you can change your password and fill in the rest of your info, as you feel comfortable.
5. Next, to access the calendar, you’ll need to click the calendar tab in your control panel:
   
6. Finally, pick the date that you want to add your event (choose future dates by using the dropdown menus as the top left part of the calendar) by clicking on the date.
   If there are already events on the date you want, just make sure to click on a WHITE part of the cell, and a form will popup:
   
7. Fill out the form (please note that the yellow parts of the form are required) and click “add.” You’re done!
