process of forming a weekly homeschool co-op for group
educational experiences.

Keith
Tice Park Playgroup--Meeting
weekly at Keith Tice Park in Clovis, north of Teague on
Millbrook on Thursdays starting around lunchtime is
another secular homeschooling group...I'm not sure who
is the official contact person for this group, but many
of the people from the Fresno & Madera Homeschoolers
group in the above listing are part of this same
group...come on by and meet us! Its a small park and you
can't miss this group. I go to this park day frequently
with my daughter. There is a lot of overlap in the local
homeschooling groups, particularly the secular...so you
will see a lot of the same people at the different

Bicentennial
Park Playgroup--Katzi is the
contact person for a local homeschooling group that has
weekly meetings at Bicentennial Park in Clovis (Sierra &
Sunnyside) which meet Tuesdays at 11am (weather
permitting) for homeschooling support. Changes of
location are posted to the
CVHomeschoolers egroup. Katzi is also the local
contact for the
Homeschool
Association of California (HSC).

HEDGE exists to Connect Home
Educators and to support families privately home

Tower Christian --
Tower Christian is a group of Christian homeschooling
families that have joined together under one private
school affidavit in accordance with California state law
as "Tower Christian School". Activities sponsored by
Tower Christian include field trips, park days, school
parties, and a youth group. They do NOT organize or
provide group classes for home educated students or drop
off events...but they do provide an opportunity to meet
other families with whom you can organize group events.

CHEFA
-- CHEFA (Christian Home Educators of
Fresno Area) is a non-profit organization created for
the purpose of providing information, training, and
support to the Christian Home School Community of the
greater Fresno area. CHEFA is a network of Christian
home educating families who volunteer to organize local
activities that encourage quality Christian home
education in the Fresno area.

Fresno Sunnyside Christian Academy PSP--Fresno
area private school satellite program for homeschooling
families throughout the Fresno area and Central
California. We provide a variety of services for our
member families for a nominal annual registration fee.
