Fresno
Family's
"Walking With Dinosaurs"
Contest--
YOU COULD WIN FREE TICKETS!
Have you
heard about THIS SHOW??:
It's called "Walking with Dinosaurs: The
Live Experience", and it will be here in Fresno
at the Savemart Center From Sept 17-21, 2008!
"...a terrific family event that has been
amazing audiences from ages 3 to 93 and
generating critical acclaim all over the world!
We consider our show to be “Edutainment” and
believe that both children and adults learn
something new while they are being entertained.
The show — which is an actual production (not a
movie or an exhibit) — is based on the
award-winning BBC television series which has
since been adapted into a full scale arena tour.
The show features 15 stunning, life-size and
faultlessly nimble dinosaurs. They are so
life-like that I found myself forgetting they
are not the real deal several times during the
show."
Learn all about the show and purchase tickets on
their website.

running!! (info below)
Fresno Family, in partnership with the
producers of "Walking with Dinosaurs", is giving
away a family 4-pack of tickets to opening
night, September 17.
Below are clues to
10
dinosaurs (using the 10 types of dinosaurs from
the show).
WHAT TO
DO:
Figure out the answers to
the questions below with your kids
Have your kidsdraw a picture
(if you have multiple children, have them
enter separately)
of the dinosaur that is the answer to each
question. (Answer as many or
as few as you like...keeping in mind that
the more correct entries you submit, the
greater odds of winning, since this will be
a random drawing at the end.) The
drawing does not have to be lifelike!
Toddler scribbles are also welcome! Since I
don't believe in judging children's artwork,
I will NOT be judging the picture quality.
Have the child write the
name of the dinosaur somewhere on the
picture. OR, if your child is unable to
write yet, it is also acceptable to write it
for them or digitally add it to the picture.
Take a digital picture of a
close-up of your child holding up their picture...Making
sure we can see clearly the child AND the
picture AND the name of the dinosaur.
Email the picture to: contest(at)fresnofamily.com
(take the "(at)" out and put the @ in).
Make sure that you send your entries from an
email that you frequently check.
When sending your
entries, please include the following info with
EACH entry (Feel free to
copy/paste this into your email): __________________________________________
Parent's name
Child's name
Child's age
City you
live in
Phone number
The QUESTION
NUMBER that the graphic is an answer to (very
important--ONLY put this in the email NOT on the
picture.)
__________________________________________
DON'T FORGET!! PLEASE MAKE SURE THE
DINOSAUR NAME IS SOMEWHERE ON THE PICTURE.
I will
post the pictures on Fresno Family as the contest is
happening. but won't label which dinosaurs are
the answers for which questions...and I will
post incorrect as well as correct answers.
CONTEST ENDS SEPTEMBER 13, SO DON'T DELAY!!!
